SANTA BARBARA, August 13, 2013— Governet, creators of the award-winning CurricUNET suite of curriculum automation systems is pleased to announce that Toni Becvinovski has joined Governet’s technical team as a Senior Project Manager. In this role, he will oversee technical implementation of the all-new CurricUNET Meta for existing clients.

Mr. Becvinovski is a strategic and results-driven Project Manager with 16 years of progressive success in technical and educational environments. He is a hands-on and resourceful professional providing a track record of incorporating IT into strategic visions while maximizing return and improving operations. In addition, Toni works to create competitive advantages by utilizing cutting edge technology. He provides innovative solutions and strives to achieve organizational objectives through commitment and expertise. He has experience managing Waterfall (traditional) projects and Agile projects working with multiple SCRUM teams.
As an Agile Project Manager, he has supported all aspects of software development projects. He brings solid experience in a client-facing project management capacity, excellent knowledge of iterative and incremental project delivery framework using Agile/Scrum methodologies. He has experience leading projects using Extreme Programming; Scrum; Feature Driven Development and Kanban.
Prior to working for Governet, he served as Director of Student Information Systems at two universities and as Project Manager at a software development company that implemented ERP systems. He holds a Master’s of Project Management from Western Carolina University, Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and has completed coursework for a Master’s of Science Degree in Computer Science and Information Systems at the College of Charleston. He is a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and Certified ICAgile Professional (CIP).
